Cannot add a Zoho One user to Zoho Sign - account already exists
If you are adding a user to Zoho Sign from the Zoho One Admin panel, you may get the message that the user already has an account in Zoho Sign. It is likely the user has signed up for a Trial with Zoho Sign.
It is not possible to have more than one account per email address in Zoho Sign. Therefore the trial has to be closed prior to adding the user to the Zoho One instance of Zoho Sign. Only the user that started that trial can close it.
To close the trial, the user needs to follow these steps:
- Go to Settings
(in the bottom left of the screen) - Organization Details. In the top
right corner you should see Close Account - confirm closing the account.
- Once this is done, the Zoho One administrator can add the user to Zoho Sign from the Zoho One admin panel.
