Create a discount rule in Zoho Backstage that applies a discount automatically when an order reaches a set amount or a set number of tickets. This guide is for event organisers who manage ticketing in Backstage.

Create the rule

1. In Zoho Backstage, open the Promo Codes module and go to the Discount Rules page.
2. Click Add Discount Rule.
3. Enter a Rule Name.
4. Choose what the discount is based on:
   • Order Amount: the discount applies when the total order value is more than the amount you set.
   • Group Discounts: the discount applies when the number of tickets bought is equal to or more than the quantity you set.
5. Enter the discount and conditions. In the Scribe example, a 20% discount applies when someone buys more than 3 premium tickets, with redemptions limited to 10.
6. Click Save.
