Use email aliases with the Zoho CRM email integration

With an IMAP email integration, you can connect only one mailbox to each Zoho CRM account. If that mailbox has several aliases, choose which alias CRM uses to send emails. Emails sent to any alias still arrive in the same inbox in CRM.

Background

A mailbox can have several alias email addresses. For example, contact.person@company.com may have the alias info@company.com, and emails to both addresses arrive in the same mailbox.

Steps

  1. In CRM, set up the email integration using your preferred method.

  2. Once it's connected, select the alias you want to use to send emails from CRM.

Note: Emails are received through the same mailbox, so your inbox folder is available in CRM whichever alias the sender used.
