Fix the VSTO Runtime error when installing the Zoho WorkDrive add-on for Microsoft Office

Fix the "VSTO Runtime not found" error when the Zoho WorkDrive add-on for Microsoft Office fails to install. This article is for anyone installing the add-on on their computer.

The problem

Sometimes the installation of the WorkDrive add-on for Microsoft Office doesn't finish. You may see the error VSTO Runtime not found.

Fix it

  1. Install the VSTO runtime from Microsoft first: www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=48217.
  2. Follow the installation instructions.
  3. When it has finished, install the Zoho WorkDrive add-on for Microsoft Office again.
