Accessing Zoho Mail from a different client (i.e. Outlook, iMail, CRM)

Warning
Aurelian Group cannot support third-party clients or protocols (such as Active Sync) - we recommend using the Zoho Mail browser access, Zoho Mail Desktop Lite, or Zoho Trident for the best and most secure desktop experience, or Zoho Mail for iOS/Zoho Mail for Android for the mobile phones.

First, verify with your administrator that IMAP is enabled as a protocol.

When this has been verified, you can add the following details for the incoming server:

Incoming Server Name: imap.zoho.com.au
Port: 993
Require SSL: Yes
Username: username@zoho.com

Note that for your password, if you have Multi-Factor Authentication enabled, you need to generate an app password. See How to generate an App Password (for example - access Mail via IMAP in CRM or another Mail client)

For sending emails, you need to configure the outgoing server settings (SMTP):

Outgoing Server Name: smtppro.zoho.com.au
Port: 465 with SSL or
Port: 587 with TLS
Require Authentication: Yes

If you want the calendar items and contacts to be synchronised as well as the emails, you may need to configure Active Sync (EAS) in supported applications/devices. To do this see this article.
